Agincourt grew rapidly after the Second World War and again through the 1980s and 90s as immigration reshaped east Toronto. Today it is a hub of Chinese, South Asian, and Middle Eastern businesses along Sheppard Avenue East and Midland Avenue.
Character
Low-rise commercial plazas sit beside postwar subdivisions. The neighbourhood feels lived-in and practical, grocery stores, dental clinics, tutoring centres, and regional transit within a short drive.
